Company — compliance and audit

AI agents on corporate policies: audit plans in minutes

A company loaded its corporate policies and built two AI agents: one generates audit plans, the other answers employee questions with cited sources.

The challenge

The corporate policies existed — complete, approved, published. Using them was another story.

Drafting an audit plan took hours of reading to turn policies into scopes, controls and verification criteria. And employees who needed to know how to act according to policy asked a colleague or dug through long documents: slow answers, and not always correct ones.

The solution

The company loaded its corporate policies and, on that same knowledge base, we built two AI agents:

  • An audit agent that generates audit plans from the policies: what to review, against which criteria and with what scope.
  • A conversational copilot employees use to ask about processes and policies in natural language. Every answer comes with the source cited: the policy and the exact section it comes from.

One document load, two uses that previously consumed hours from different people.

The results

  • 2 agents on the same policy base — the effort of structuring the knowledge was made once.
  • Drafting an audit plan went from hours to minutes.
  • Employees get verifiable answers with cited sources, instead of hallway interpretations.

Compliance stopped being the team that answers the same questions over and over, and started auditing more often and with sharper focus.

What’s next

Grow the base with new documents — procedures, manuals, external regulations — and add specialized agents per area on the same knowledge: the pattern is already proven.
